A long and fairly slender wasp, feeding on flowers of a Common Silkpod (Parsonia straminea – refer Sighting 4640075). This wasp shares strong similarities with the wasp at sighting 4695857. The photos here cover more angles, even if quality was still a challenge. This wasp appears to be all black with a green sheen, except for the thorax and front of head, which appeared white (eyes black) (Photos 1 3 & 5), and latter part of the narrow tube connecting the abdomen to the thorax, which mostly appeared to be a dark tan (photos 1 & 4). The mouth parts form a very long ‘V’ shape (photo2 2 & 3).
