User's notes

Healthy caterpillar to identify? Please help. I presumed a species of moths, or is this a species of butterflies. Feeding on the fresh new foliage growth leaves of this tree: _Steganthera laxiflora_ subsp. _laxiflora_. (https://naturemapr.org/sightings/4696920 ) . I have 2 more photographs of different angles of this caterpillar, if needed. Mossman Gorge, Baral Marrjanga [main raised walkway], goes beside this tree just after its start . 2018 March 10th 2 – 2:04 pm .

If I am correct a rather colourful moth. Some suggested food plants are (a) Fishy Vine ( Austrobaileya scandens, MAGNOLIACEAE),(b) Jiman ( Steganthera laxiflora, MONIMIACEAE), and
(c) Narow-leaf Wilkiea ( Wilkiea angustifolia, MONIMIACEAE) see http://lepidoptera.butterflyhouse.com.au/enno/rotundata.html https://inaturalist.ala.org.au/observations?verifiable=true&taxon_id=546782&place_id=6744&preferred_place_id=6744 note none of the larvae seem to be varified
