E. talantias appears to be a northern species.

Edosa purella is also a far northern species and only has a very narrow yellow stripe on the wings.

On the ALA the distribution of E talantias is SE inland NSW with one record on the NSW north coast.
This record is from Victoria. I would have thought E. tyrannica would also be a candidate,
