Several shrubs of Daviesia genistifolia, in close proximity, were in flower and the bees were very active in flying between the shrubs and visiting the flowers. Several bees had pollen packed into their hind legs. They had black abdomens and less distinctly coloured thorax, possible due to it being hairy.
Precise features couldn’t be seen due to the bees settling at flowers for only a few seconds before flying to another flower.
