@MichaelMulvaney - this sighting was in Moruya, so perhaps should not be in ACT's most wanted collection? Given that NM will not be operating on the south coast in seven months - should I stop posting my south coast sightings? I have a few to record from past visits which I'd like to post, but I am wondering what to do with any sightings from now to June next year?

I’ve tried iNaturalist, and really don’t want go there. For example, I understand once photos are loaded, then iNaturalist owns them? And I’ve also not enjoyed the comments I’ve received from others in the platform. So I’m at a bit of a loss - particularly as to what to do for the next 6 months. Then I’ll probably just stop recording? Or swallow my stubbornness and go to the last remaining citizen science platform …

Hi Lisa
Please keep adding your south coast records for at least the end of the year and I suspect the presence of this bee is under reported on the South Coast. I am still getting my head around what will be technically possible and how we can continue as a community even when we have to switch to Inaturalist. WE will nut out a way forward at the AGM of the Canberra and National Naturemapr Association in February 2026 - please ensure you have emailed to become a member of the Association - see announcements for details. Hopefully we can keep some of the best aspects of Naturemapr.
