Green cicada _Gymnotympana varicolor_ .
Healthy green (smaller) cicada, with some red under-parts including the belly, tail and the ends of the legs .
At the start of Stewart Creek bridge, on the side of the road up-river after passing Daintree Village .
2023 January 11th 4:12–4:16 pm .

Female cicada. Based on size and body proportions, looks better for Gymnotympana varicolor than Guineapsaltria flava.
