User's notes

_Polyscias mollis_ mature tree finished fruiting . Healthy lowland foothill tropical rain forest small rocky creek with mostly year–round water flow, mature lower–storey tree, just finished fruiting and the infructescence withered and remnants blackened (shown here in this only single passing by photograph. ) . See my own prior sightings of this same tree well in flower and going into growing many fruits: https://naturemapr.org/sightings/4655656 and https://naturemapr.org/sightings/4655653 . Many of this species of these lower–storey trees grow well in this creek location (more than ten trees) . Mossman Gorge, long circuit track's back part, in the small rocky creek gully crossed by means of rock steps with water flowing between them usually year–round (not one of the usually dry gully before this part of this track) . Not so far upslope from the large old fig spot (signed, but that huge tree now fallen) . 2015 March 1st 11:36 am .
