User's notes

_Cissus repens_ young sapling – to again re–confirm this identification (cf. _C. reniformis_, _C. vinosa_) . Healthy lowland tropical rain forest, healthy vigorous young sapling plant, including just enough details for identification (shown here in this single photograph): • leaves here appear glabrous even when young (not pubescent when young as in _C. vinosa_), • terete stems (not square and winged as in _C. hastata_ and angled as in _C. vinosa_), • leaves dark green (not light green as in _Cissus reniformis_), • tendrils appear unbranched (not branched as in _C. vinosa_), • leaves length – breadth ratio closer to 1.4 (than to 1 in _Cissus reniformis_), etc. . Mossman Gorge, long circuit track, about the last stretch between the part parellel to the River and this circuit's end junction with its start . 2015 January 27th 1-18 pm .
