_Polyalthia submontana_ subsp. _submontana_ tree, fruiting, ripe . Healthy lowland tropical rain forest, lower–storey, healthy mature tree, fruiting ripe and a seed exposed inside one of these fruits (apocarps) which has had its bottom flesh eaten off, foliage including some of the details and upper part of this tree's habit (all shown here) . Mossman Gorge, long circuit track, start–end junction, together with the end of the lead–in–to–it track . 2016 September 24th 3:27–4:11 pm .
