_Averrhoa carambola_ to re-check this ID . Presumably fruit with seeds inside it was discarded (or even mistakenly planted) here, in this picnic area garden bed, inside this National Park . Alien 'exotic' tropical star fruit originating in Asia . To remove . Juvenile plant only shade suppressed i have observed from 2013 – 2023 no fertile material yet seen . Mossman Gorge, out the picnic area side of the mens door of the toilet block in one of the garden beside the concrete pathwway, in the picnic area in general . 2015 March 27th 9:15–9:16 am .
