User's notes

_Meiogyne hirsuta_ shrub, fruiting . Healthy lowland tropical rain forest, under-storey shrub, fruiting well (apocarps) some ripe and some not yet ripe, foliage and habit (shown here) . Interesting this shrub plant has a long foliage leader recent growth at its top which appears to have had almost all its leaves eaten off (shown here), presumably by herbivore(s) eg. caterpillars. Mossman Gorge, long circuit track, ca. one third the way around –to attempt to recall more details of this location or perhaps re-find this location from landmarks and even this plant, then update this sighting's coordinates accordingly . 2015 March 21st 3:54 – 4 pm .
