_Beilschmiedia tooram_ sapling with wonderful brilliant red new foliage growth .
Healthy lowland tropical rain forest, tree sapling in the under-storey, with brilliant red new foliage growth,
old with thick trunk base for its small height (hence unusually steep gradient of trunk diameter from the base to below the leaves, presumably long suppressed by the canopy shade .
Mossman Gorge, long circuit track – to attempt to recall more details of this location or perhaps even re-find this plant .
