Eastern Grey Kangaroos (Macropus giganteus) are common around the Perth Hills area. Typically you see them in herds of 2 ~ 3, but I have seen up to 4 or 5 at my back yard, with the females sometimes carrying a young joey in their pouches. Scared of humans and dogs, and will typically run away when they see a human.
