Hey @AnkeMaria ! This was a cane toad infested dam full of old carpet and completely overgrown with noxious weeds. Last year we had hundreds of baby cane toad eggs spawning in and around the dam out of control. I wiped them all out then we cleared out all the feral dam contents and the old carpet and fixed a leak, so it now holds full water capacity. We installed an extensive rock garden wall around 50% of the dam using boulders we had lying around the property. As of right now, we have over 20 of these green frogs that go nuts every night as well as the other brown striped frogs in the same dam. Toad population is currently zero, but they come back quickly so I do bi-weekly patrols to keep nuking the cane toads. Keelback snakes also living in under the rocks which help eat some toads.
