Happily retired doing my own thing which is mainly tending to my 6.5acre Australian rainforest arboretum at Diamond Beach, NSW. At other times I'm off travelling and photographing what I see. I'm particulary interested to identify and document the things I photograph and I'm always appreciative of any ID assistance anyone can provide.
While I do have a significant interest in landscape photography my other major interest is photographing Australia's rainforest flora including fungi, lichens and mosses, though the latter can be almost impossible to identify from an image alone.
You can find me at Flickr under the username Black Diamond Images where I'm also administrator of the Flickr group - Identifying Australian Rainforest Plants Trees and Fungi. The group was founded in 2007 and uses acronymic tagging to group species into image cohorts according to colour, along with many other tag categories.
The group holds in excess of 75,000 identified images and currently has 754 members.
No sightings currently exist.
