I was able to edit one of the photos by lightening up the shadows sufficient to readily see that this is Selagis caloptera. Cheers, Allen M. Sundholm

Unfortunately the photos do not show any distinguishing features of this beetle so it’s impossible to say whether this is Selagis formosa or S. caloptera
