Clithria eucnemis is smaller, more hairy and more slender than Chondropyga olliffiana. The narrowing of the sides of the elytra behind the shoulders (typical of Cetoniinae) is very abrupt in Clithria, less so in Chondropyga. Clithria eucnemis is quite variable in the extent of yellow markings on the pronotum and elytra; this individual has more yellow than usual.
