I'm not really sure what this insect was. It was the only photo I got. It looks like of beeish with long antenna and black and white stripes at the rear. I thought it was an ordinary bee and didn't pay it the attention I should have! It was on this flowering mistletoe in a Blakeyii gum tree.

@KylieWaldon I would suggest that this is likely to be a Lipotriches sp. or Nomia sp. but given we can’t confirm the details I’d say it’d be unlikely to have an accurate confirmation on this one sorry🥲
