User's notes

Biggest group of black kites i've ever seen. There's lost of burn-offs happening in the district at the moment, so it seems that these kites have flocked together, as they do during bushfires, when they prey on the small mammals and reptiles fleeing the fire. Half of the flock settled on a pair of stag trees to watch us, while the other half was wheeling about in the air above us.
