Adult female with two adorable chicks. A third chick (slightly older than the first two) was seen alone further down the road. Unfortunately, when another observer went to see them on Sunday he found the hen and her two chicks dead, obviously having been run-over. The same observer also found two other dotterels (alive) at the site.
