Growing in the gutter on the side of the road. I believe the species is Ptilotus semilanatus (which isn't currently an option on Nature Map).

Can I make a correction? This is actually Ptilotus sessilifolius. I gave an incorrect ID last time.

Thanks Matt. I had another look and went through the key and it's pretty clear you're right here, to be honest I don't think I really checked properly in the first place so my bad.

Neither did I, despite collecting a specimen. I had a proper look at the specimen this afternoon and it keyed out very easily.
