After looking at leaf beetles for the last month or so, these seemed huge! I could hear the gnawing, so I looked up and saw these amazingly shaped and coloured 'Christmas Beetles'. Never seen anything like them before. They were about 2M up in a 2.5M gum sapling. Could only see three but could have been more. wow.
