User's notes

A combo of feeding and resting when I first got there. There were hundreds on some of the trees out in flower, and none on the others. Some had what looked like giant black beetles which turned out be balls of this beetle in under the flowers. Didn't see a lot of mating. 90% had orange butts but some like the one on the grass had yellow butts. Not sure why. Looked like the same beetle.
