after all the storm had passed i found this beetle on my kitchen floor. It had very fine legs and head area but was reasonably large. when it fell on its back it opened out its orange wings to right itself. I was concerned about getting it outside as quickly as possible so didn't get the best pics. Kind of had a rectangle shape out in front.
