didn't expect to walk in on a pack of these cockatoos this morning. Mostly adult pairs. Two immature males changing into adults. Feeding on gum tree nuts, but may also have been massing to drink from the dam. Most I've seen together in Wodonga ever I think.

Thanks Kylie - There is a project underway by a masters student at the ANU to develop an AI tool to identify individual Gang-gangs from their feather colouring and pattern so multiple images of birds from different angles may in the future be able to tell us something about Gang-gang movements.

TY Michael. So I should put them in as individuals in future? No problem. I don't normally get this close, but I was amazed at how distinctive some of the individuals were. I'll put up the others as individuals that are not included here. :)

Yep individual birds would be good - and woudl be good to get some data from your part of the world
