User's notes

A well camouflaged (?)bug, is just above centre in both photos. The upper surface is a mottling of fawn & brown-black with symmetrical white spots on top of the abdomen, and broken white margins. The shell on the abdomen appears to be made up of 4 or 5 slats running from side to side, and decreasing in size towards the rear end.
