User's notes

A chunky-thoraxed dragonfly with a gold brown abdomen, closely matching the colour of the dead bracken stem it is perched on. There looks to be a broad band of maize-yellow running from front to back on the top of the thorax. The eyes are a rich brown, and upper outer edges of the thorax are also marked with a rich brown. The legs appear black with some brown on the upper legs closest to the body. Slim brown bands surround the thorax and the foremost part of the abdomen, and the tail tip, are also a maize-yellow. The wing veins appear to be black. This has several features in common with the dragonfly at sighting 4670143, and has since been verified as the same species.
