User's notes

A flock of six flew into one tree, soon joined by a seventh - and others could be heard deeper into the bush. I walked a bit further west, and a group of three flew onto a tree to feed - same tree as yesterday afternoon. Of note is the thick white wave-like lining on the back feathers (in varying amounts) on most of the birds photographed - even young males. Is this a family group, I wonder? Fascinating
