_Ficus variegata_ saplings .
Healthy tropical lowland rain forest foothills lower slopes,
young saplings, variously some leaves healthy and some leaves extensively eaten, partly skeletonised, damaged, presumably by small skeletoniser–feeding caterpillars(?).
Mossman Gorge, long circuit track, back part up where it traverses the ridge .
