Phthonerodes peridela

The adult moths of this species have streaky brown forewings, each with a broad dark area along the hind-margin. The hindwings are pale brown, shading darker at the wingtips. The hindwings have recurved wingtips. The wingspan is about 2 cms.

 The species has been found in :  Queensland,  New South Wales, and  Australian Capital Territory.
