The adult moth is pale brown with two dark marks on each forewing, and has a wingspan of about 1.5 cms. The species has been found in New Zealand, and in Australia in: Queensland, New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory, Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia, and Western Australia.
