Unplaced monopthalma (A Clothes moth (Tineidae))

The adult moth of this species has speckled fawn forewings which shade darker toward the wing-tips. The hindwings are similar but paler. The moth has a variable wingspan up to 1.5 cms. The species has been found in Australia in  Queensland, New South Wales,  Australian Capital Territory,  Tasmania, South Australia, and  Western Australia.
