Achilidae: Achilinae
Fletcher (2009 and updates) states that Plectrini 'is by far the most species-rich and most commonly collected tribe of Australian Achilidae. Almost certainly, the number of described taxa in the tribe represents only a small proportion of the Australian fauna which are mainly dull brown or grey, often with whitish markings'. None of the genera are illustrated. Of the 12 listed genera, only Benella and Pyrrhyllis are listed as occurring in south-eastern Australia, with the other 10 restricted to tropical Queensland.
