Cryptophasa nephrosema (Xyloryctidae, Xyloryctinae)

Cryptophasa nephrosema is found in coastal Queensland and Northern territory. The larvae are stem borers, their foodplants being various Melaleuca species (Myrtaceae) including M. leucodendra, M. quinquenervia & M. armillaris.
