Distribution and Ecology

Occurs in the wet tropics bio-region NE. Qld., central eastern Qld. and southwards as far as north eastern New South Wales.

Grows in well developed rain forest on a variety of sites but is more common in lowland and upland rain forests.
Also occurs in Malesia and the SW Pacific islands.
