This undescribed Proteuxoa species has been recorded in Victoria, on Black Mountain (ACT) and now Canberra suburbia. It is referred to as Proteuxoa sp. 7 in Moths of Victoria Part 9. A specimen in the ANIC collections was raised from a larva or pupa on Grevillea sp..
