Distribution and Ecology

Occurs in WA, NT, Cape York Peninsula, the wet tropics bio-region NE. Qld and central eastern Qld. 
Altitudinal range from sea level to 800 m.
Grows in well developed lowland rain forest, gallery forest and upland rain forest.
Also occurs in Asia and Malesia.
