Distribution and Ecology

Endemic to Queensland, occurs in Cape York Peninsula and the wet tropics bio-region NE. Qld.. 
Altitudinal range from near sea level to 800 m.
Grows in well developed lowland and upland rain forest on a variety of sites but tends to be more common in drier, more seasonal rain forest.
