Descomyces albus (A native truffle)

A native truffle; globose to somewhat irregular in shape; up to about 20 mm in diameter; surface dry and whitish but with patches of yellow; internally brown with numerous small chambers. Descomyces albellus is visually similar but differs in microscopic features.
