Hadronyche nimoola (A funnel-web spider)

refer to M. Gray Records of the Australian Museum v.62: 285-392 (2010) pp.342-345. Identifying features separating the genus Hadronyche from the other two funnel-web genera Atrax and Illawarra are: caput (raised section of carapace bearing eyes) moderately to strongly raised; male tibia II is either unmodified or bears a rounded, rather than large, prominent swelling. Distinguishing feature of Hadronyche nimoola include small-moderate size (carapace length 6-7mm), caput high and wide, rising steeply from fovea, metatarsus II (of males) does not have a swelling.
