Androchela newmannaria (Newman's Cape-moth)

The adult moths have brown wings, with very broad band with irregular dotted edges across each forewing, and a vague dark spot near the middle of each wing. The forewings have angled margins and slightly hooked wingtips. The moths have a wingspan of 3 cms.  The species has been found in  Victoria, and  Tasmania.
