Cap:- 0.5-1.5 cm, reddish brown with darker centre, conis to campanulate, dry, smooth; radially striate.
Gills:- adnate, white with a dark reddish purple margin; extruding a dark latex when damaged.
Stem:- 4-7 x 0.1-0.15cm, pink to pale reddish brown, cylindrical, hollow, smooth, dry, extrudes a dark lates when when cut or damaged.
This species occurs in small groups in forest litter on the forest floor or amongst grass in open eucalypt woodland.
