TheCrossingLand

The Crossing Land is a not for profit Environment Education Camp for young people.  An environment organision and registered tax deductible charity.

Our mission is youth leadership through Landcare, conservation and sustainable design. The camp has a permaculture design and 90 percent of our bush is a conservation area.

15 minutes drive from Bermagui or a 2.5 hour paddle down the Bermagui river. Spectacular wilderness coast walks are accessed as part of 2 or 3 day walks from the camp.

The Crossing has the support of traditional Aboriginal owners of the adjoining Biamanga National Park for camping and research.

The camp is a traditional crossing place near the top of the tide on the Bermagui river.  Young people make a crossing to adulthood here, learning ways to contribute to landcare, conservation and sustainable design.
