Hi All,
We're doing a lot of work to the background maintenance service (which is responsible for updating the various bits and pieces around the website in a timely manner) in order to address our growing pains and enable the platform to handle much larger loads without breaking a sweat. I.e. a bit of a technical redesign.
As a result certain things are currently very delayed. As an example, if you upload a sighting, you may not see it appear in the Latest Sightings list or any of the other various lists, for quite a long time.
This in no way means your sighting wasn't received or has been lost, it just means we haven't got around to adding them to all of the various lists throughout the platform yet until the maintenance service comes back on line.
It is safe to keep uploading and do whatever you normally do and we should be back up and running pretty soon.
