New website (outage imminent)

Hi All,

Just another courtesy message that we will commence the cutover to the new website in about a day from now.

We plan to do the cut over at about 5pm tomorrow afternoon/evening.

We expect the website will only be down for approx 1 hour, but you may experience some weird behaviour temporarily in the immediate hours after that while we bed in the new platform.

Had forgotten about upgrade Aaron though when I did an upload (approx 1230am after not finding site for a while, which went fine) i then noticed I had lost 70 sightings once system came back..?

Oh, just noticed significant (8?) and unidentified (40+) were part of that...both showing zero now. Time for bed sorry, will be around tomorrow, and the next day, and the next day, etc etc. :)

I sent tech support an email about an issue with notifications not coming through and being unable to moderate. I also notice that any sightings I view are automatically "liked" by me.

I just noticed that on the home screen it says our comments were posted 48 minutes ago (actual time of comment), but here it says every comment was posted 10 hrs ago.
For other feedback would you like me message tech support, or comment here?

Building on what Matt said, my moderator alerts are a bit weird as well. Some aren't comeing through, such as confirmations, but the ones that do all just say someone suggested an "unknown bird" even when an ID has been suggested. The alerts also only come up as "just now" or "yesterday" which stays the same for the alert. I also somehow managed to Like a sighting 4 times even though I only pressed the like button once. Other than this, the website seems to be much better. Things load much faster and many functions/features have been improved. I would like to thank all involved as the new website is definitely better.
