I think the other Thalaina species have a dark marking under the forewing, unlike this specimen.

@chriselidie : I think H. diffundens caterpillar has red dashes along the sides. Yours certainly looks like a Geometrinae, but I do not know one with the lateral eyespot on the first abdominal segment. It would be great if you could rear it to discover its species.
