Not sure what's going on with the location. When I checked sighting it showed it on Mt Majura, which is where the sighting occurred. I've repinned it. hopefully this has fixed it.

Hi all, I think it is actually most often the operator having a bad day. The civilian GPS systems we use are no longer subject to selective availability. And modern phones and recreational GPS units now communicate with five GPS systems of different nations, all at once. USA (GPS), Russian (Glonass), European (Galileo), Indian, and Japanese. They are unlikely to all have a bad day at once. I suspect people sometimes forget to save their waypoint on the spot, then it saves later, on another location, when they shut their app down.
