Is it perhaps a juvenile?

Great photograph. This looks more like a Tree Dragon Amphibolurus muricatus . The head markings of A. muricatus and Pogona juveniles are quite similar. But this dragon appears to have enlarged dorsal scales in rows (which bearded dragons don't have). Cant be confident really without seeing a little more of the lizard.
