User's notes

It was so humid and damp after rain most of these beetles were in under the flowers making photos difficult. Such a distinctive beetle.

Hi Kylie, A very confusing beetle as there are a number of similar species (I'm not sure I have my head around them all either), but to me the wings (I don't know all the correct scientific body parts) don't come far enough down over the abdomen to be Kingii.

Thanks Alison. Its really hard to see their back ends, but I think you're right. I will try to make sure I don't just get their head end in future! :)
