User's notes

Wonderful iridescent green 'lady beetle' to ID (Coccinellidae – i think! Not a leaf beatle Chrysomelidae?). – please help with this beetle identification here and in the subsequent sighting of this same individual beetle with some more close up photographs ( https://naturemapr.org/sightings/4724195 ) . – credit and thanks to Michael Mulvaney for adding the genus identification of _Hysmatodon_ here . Walking around on a healthy forest lower–storey growing _Pseuduvaria froggattii_ tree, well established woody, beyond sapling stage but not fully grown, foliage, habit, leaves closer–up ( https://naturemapr.org/sightings/4698543 ) . Mossman Gorge, long circuit track side, just before large diagonal prominent strangler fig near this track. 2015 January 30th 11:53–12:05 pm .
